As a pharmacist at Custom Health, I am thrilled to share some inspiring stories of women who have become true Heart Health Heroes through our technology-enabled solutions. The impact of these innovations on patients' heart health journeys has been nothing short of remarkable.
When patients are diagnosed with heart conditions, it often brings overwhelming stress and worry. Questions about medication and treatment adherence can be burdensome. However, with our technology, we've successfully alleviated these concerns. Patients no longer need to worry about taking their medications; they can trust that they will receive the right medication at the right time.
When patients start using our technology, it brings an immediate sense of relief. They can trust our dedicated team to look after them, coupled with the assurance they will get the right medication at the right time. Our user-friendly technology caters to all ages, making it accessible for everyone, including young children and older adults. This adaptability is especially crucial for effective heart health management, fitting seamlessly into every routine.
As a pharmacist, I've witnessed the transformative impact of these offerings on my patients and the community. The ability to ensure patients take their medications on time eliminates guesswork. If issues arise, I can act as a detective, working collaboratively with patients to identify and solve problems, even those unrelated to medication.
Working with this technology has made me realize how many individuals lack support or advocates. Our solutions empower them to manage this aspect of their lives, providing a sense of control. This is particularly significant for those balancing the responsibilities of caring for children or aging parents. Our technology equips them to prioritize their health and, in turn, better support themselves and their families.
Additionally, I am proud to share that one of our patients was profoundly impacted by our technology, inspiring the creation our ambassador program. She wanted to pay forward the support she received, helping other patients embark on their heart health journeys with confidence. Below is her story, illuminating the real-world impact of technology on her heart health journey, showcasing her strength and resilience as one of our Heart Health Heroes.
Hayley’s story:
At 15, Hayley's racing heart signaled trouble. Medication managed it for years, but symptoms returned at 30. Continuous heart monitoring revealed a staggering 207 bpm while she slept, leading to an Atrial Fibrillation diagnosis. Medications and surgery followed, but complications necessitated ultrasounds and a second surgery. With frequent monitoring and life-saving medications, managing them became crucial to prevent a stroke.
Custom Health's technology became Hayley's lifeline. Ensuring timely medication delivery to her home, the dispensing device streamlined changes seamlessly. Hayley emphasizes the importance of listening to your body, urging prompt attention to symptoms. Without her medication technology, managing over 20 prescriptions independently would be overwhelming. Hayley's message resonates: for those with chronic conditions, especially heart-related, this technology is a lifesaver, offering peace of mind and efficient medication management.
As a pharmacist, I've witnessed the transformative impact of these offerings on my patients and the community. The ability to ensure patients take their medications on time eliminates guesswork.
